Community Foundation awards $10,000 grant

The HTF has received a $10,000 grant from the San Luis Obispo County Community Foundation (SLOCCF). This grant will support the HTF’s mission of increasing the supply of affordable housing in San Luis Obispo County for very low, low and moderate income households, including households with special needs. It will also be used to help preserve  existing affordable housing.

The Housing Trust Fund was chosen to receive this grant from over 70 applicants and is among 30 recipients, whose grants total $221,773.

This year’s grantmaking program is made possible through the generous support of the Foundation’s Community Endowment and many donor funds held at the Foundation. In only ten years, the SLOCCF has given out more than $12 million in grants to assist nonprofit agencies. For more information on the SLOCCF or any funds, call 543-2323 or log onto www.sloccf.org.
