Union Bank awards $5,000

The Union Bank of California Foundation has awarded $5,000 to the San Luis Obispo County Housing Trust Fund.

“The Housing Trust Fund exemplifies the type of broad based partnership that we support for addressing local housing needs,” explains Darla Chiarito, Union Bank of California Vice President and Manager of the San Luis Obispo branch.

“Union Bank has been a consistent and generous supporter of the Housing Trust Fund,” said Jerry Rioux, the HTF’s executive director. “The Bank’s foundation has provided a total of $40,000 in grants since 2005.”

The new grant will help the Housing Trust Fund provide financing and technical assistance for affordable housing throughout San Luis Obispo County.
