Union Bank of California
grants
$15,000 to
Housing Trust Fund
Recognizing that affordable housing is a key element of
healthy communities and economic development, the Union Bank of
California Foundation has awarded $15,000 to the San Luis Obispo County
Housing Trust Fund. Last year, the Foundation contributed $10,000 to the
Housing Trust Fund.
“Affordable housing for the local workforce and
households with special needs is vital to the economic well-being of our
county,” noted Lynn Gutierrez, Union Bank of California Assistant Vice
President and Manager – Atascadero office.
“Union
Bank’s support has been tremendous and Lynn and her team at the
Atascadero branch have been so enthusiastic about Housing Trust Fund
projects – two of which are underway in their community,” noted Marilyn
Mayor, special projects manager for the Housing Trust Fund. “It’s
especially gratifying when a donor can watch the progress on our
projects right in their neighborhood and know they have played a key
role.”
