U.S. Bank makes first contribution
U.S. Bank recently made its
first contribution
to the San Luis Obispo County Housing Trust Fund.
“U.S. Bank is committed to affordable housing in
every market that we serve,” explains Mary Salinas Duron, U.S.
Bank, Community Development Manager in Southern California.
“When we enter a new market, we look for partners like the San
Luis Obispo County Housing Trust Fund to help us address local
housing needs.”
“We are honored that U.S. Bank has chosen to
support our efforts to create and preserve affordable housing in
San Luis Obispo County,” said Jerry Rioux, the Housing Trust
Fund’s executive director.
U.S. Bank is the sixth largest bank in the nation
based on assets. It recently entered the San Luis Obispo market
with the acquisition of Downey Savings in 2008. U.S. Bank
now has traditional branches in both San Luis Obispo and Arroyo
Grande. In addition, they have four full service branches
with extended and weekend hours in supermarkets throughout the
county.

U.S. Bank's $5,000 grant
will help the Housing Trust Fund to
provide financing, technical assistance and advocacy for affordable
housing throughout San Luis Obispo County.
