The Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa, Wisconsin
have invested $30,000 from their Alternative Investment Fund in the San
Luis Obispo County Housing Trust Fund.
"The Sinsinawa Dominicans are the seventh religious
community to invest in our revolving loan funds,"
states Jerry Rioux, Executive Director of the Housing Trust Fund. "We
now have a total of $555,000 in investments from religious communities
to finance affordable housing in San Luis Obispo
County."
The Sinsinawa Dominicans established their
Alternative Investment Fund in 1983. Their investments have
supported affordable housing, child care centers, small businesses and
other efforts that help poor and disadvantaged groups in
the United States and abroad. Additional information on the
