Sinsinawa Dominicans invest in HTF

The Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa, Wisconsin have invested $30,000 from their Alternative Investment Fund in the San Luis Obispo County Housing Trust Fund.

"The Sinsinawa Dominicans are the seventh religious community to invest in our revolving loan funds," states Jerry Rioux, Executive Director of the Housing Trust Fund.  "We now have a total of $555,000 in investments from religious communities to finance affordable housing in San Luis Obispo County."

The Sinsinawa Dominicans established their Alternative Investment Fund in 1983.  Their investments have supported affordable housing, child care centers, small businesses and other efforts that help poor and disadvantaged groups in the United States and abroad.  Additional information on the Sinsinawa Dominicans and their Alternative Investment Fund is available online at www.sinsinawa.org/07_Peace_Justice/AIAC.htm.
