Information for BorrowersThe Fund is currently soliciting applications from private developers, nonprofit corporations and government agencies to finance the development, rehabilitation, preservation or acquisition of affordable housing. Loans from the Fund may be used for a variety of purposes, including project planning and predevelopment expenses, site acquisition, site development, construction, rehabilitation and to bridge other financing gaps. Both ownership and rental housing, including housing that provides transitional or seasonal shelter, are eligible for financing. At least one unit in the project must be dedicated to provide long term affordable housing for very low, low and/or moderate income households. Information on the funds that are currently available, our lending policies and our application process are available online.
