# Slo County Housing T
> The San Luis Obispo County Housing Trust Fund (HTF) is a private nonprofit organization founded in 2003 to increase the supply of affordable housing for low to moderate-income residents and people with disabilities in the county. Rather than building directly, the HTF provides financing and technical assistance to developers, nonprofits, and government agencies. Since its establishment, the HTF has funded over 70 housing developments, creating or preserving more than 1,700 affordable housing units. The organization operates a revolving loan fund and collaborates with community partners to address the significant housing affordability challenges in San Luis Obispo County.
