Sunset Terrace

The San Luis Obispo County Housing Trust Fund is proud to support the Housing Authority of San Luis Obispo (HASLO) with a $720,000 loan for this project, which will serve low-income seniors earning between 30% and 50% of the area median income. Sunset Terrace is a 25-unit affordable senior housing community located in the Shell Beach neighborhood of Pismo Beach.

Sunset Terrace includes 8 studios and 17 one-bedroom apartments and was financed primarily through Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. All units will remain affordable for 55 years.

Conveniently located on Shell Beach Road next to Spyglass Park, the property offers residents scenic coastal access and proximity to local amenities.

This development represents another important collaboration with mission-aligned partners at HASLO to increase the supply of affordable housing for seniors in San Luis Obispo County.
